Our Story

AJ Building and Restoration has been supporting insurance builders since 2010. Originally starting in the hire of equipment and working out of a shared factory to where we are today.

 AJ Building and Restoration currently has offices in three states, Victoria, NSW & Queensland. They are overseen by two passionate Directors Joe Scordo and Franc Di Benedetto, and they are supported by their equally dedicated team.

Starting in the hire of equipment and providing building supplies to builders across Melbourne Joe and Franc launched Make Safe & Emergency services to their business portfolio. Providing exceptional customer service and creating an incredible brand and support that insurance builders can rely on. 

In the early stages of 2019, AJ’s added a repair service due to the natural demand, this included anything from carpentry, plumbing, electrical, bricklaying, painting and plastering work needed. This was adding to the fast-growing list of services that AJ Building and Restoration could offer.

Again due to the natural demand, AJ’s launched another service to their portfolio - Restoration Services. Wanting to fulfil a one stop shop, Restoration was born on the 1st of July 2021. AJ Supplies was then officially changed to our new company name, AJ Building & Restoration.

The company employs over 40 full time staff and over 150 contractors, though out all three states.

Our vision is to further expand the AJ Building & Restoration into Tasmania and South Australia and become one of the most trusted brands in Building and Restoration in Australia.
